Résumé :	Under the premiership of Mrs. Thatcher, Britain has known great changes and developments especially in economy. She led her party throughout three successive terms and became the dominant figure in Britain and in the world. Thatcher’s policies made many confrontations between common people and historians. They argued about her achievements and if she was a successful prime minister or not. Thus, in this work we are going to deal with Thatcher’s political career; from the time she held office until she left it. We will show the steps she took to succeed in improving Britain’s situation to the best, her hard struggles to battle her enemies within her country and how she left the office to save the union of her party.
