Résumé : |
In Our research we approach the study, the description, and the analysis of the Irish question since the beginning of the Nineteenth Century until, nearly, its end when Ireland knew many political, social, and religious shifts. So, we would study the Irish Question from the religious viewpoint of the British Prime Minister; William Ewart Gladstone (1868-1894) who devoted his life and tried very hard to solve the Irish problems by mixing Christianity with politics. This research analyzes and examines the different measures and procedures that Sir Gladstone applied in Ireland to settle down the Irish problems in several fields and how he struggled between the British government and the Irish Unionists’ opposition to grant Ireland the right of Home Rule. |
