considered to be facing severe structural problems including: inflation in double figures, and
unemployment increasing. And that affected hardly Britain social life. When coming to power
the Conservative administration declared deferent strategies to fight the harsh inflation and
high unemployment level. The main findings support the study that Thatcher’s government
concentrated on inflation more than any other issues. She kept tightening her curbing inflation
policies which impacted negatively on rising unemployment which reached the unprecedented
