In this dissertation our interest intends to explore the importance of motivation that the educators can target in order to improve students’ level of motivation through listening skills. This study looks for identifying motivation in psychology and its theories, and provides educators with suggestion from each of the five keys that can be used to motivate his or her students. In learning English as a foreign language, the listening skills have a permanent role in improving learners’ level of motivation. It is also an active skill in the teaching/learning process that needs throwing more light on it even though the comprehension problems learners are facing while listening to English.Through our hypothesis we investigate the role of motivation in enhancing EFL learners listening skills. In general, the obtainedresults confirm our hypothesis. We recognize that listening skills are necessary in improving students’ level of motivation |
