Résumé : |
The present study aims to investigate the relationship between cooperative learning and students’
speaking skill. It seeks to explore how teachers implement this technique in their classes and how students
react towards it. So if oral expression teachers use cooperative learning in their classes, then students will
develop their speaking skills. The method used in this research is the descriptive method that examines
two variables- cooperative learning (independent variable), and speaking skill (dependent variable). This
research fieldwork is conducted with the collaboration of second year LMD students and oral expression
teachers at the department of Letters and English Language, Frères Mentouri University, Constantine.
The data has been gathered through two (2) questionnaires; one is administered to teachers and the other
one is administered to students. The research findings have revealed that cooperative learning helps
students improve their speaking skills. Thus, teachers and students should collaborate and use this helpful
technique appropriately |
