Résumé :	This paper aims at analysing the effect of media coverage on the American criminal justice system, on the public opinion, and on the outcome of the trials. It attempts to explain the various criteria that media puts when selecting what case trial to be publicised, focusing on fame and race as two major agents examined through these lines because of their connection to the case study of this research. In order to better understand the significant effect that media plays, this research paper examines the case of O.J Simpson as a case study to show how his race, and fame contributed to gain wide media coverage of the trial, and how they directed the fate of the offender, each with a different extent
