This research aims to investigate the impact of using mobile learning to enhance first year
students of English speaking skills at Mentouri University, Constantine. To achieve this
aim, five students are randomly sampled to represent the population. Using a mixed
methods research design, data are collected through an experiment to test the study
hypothesis that mobile applications improve students speaking skills. A resort to the
questionnaire as a backup research instrument is also taken to provide insights for the
explanation of the emerging findings from the experiment. A comparison between the pretest and post-test results reveals positive differences in students speaking skills
performance in the post-test and students show positive attitudes towards mobile learning.
In the light of the findings, the study recommends integrating information and
communication technology in the form of mobile learning into teaching and learning EFL
would constitute great results |
