Robots, from various types, play an important role in our daily life; we depend on them in a lot of fields, especially industrial, medical and army. The main reason behind the excessive use of these smart machines is the fast lifestyle and the endless needs of this world that has primarily become consumer.
For this thesis we choose to work on the theme of the remote control in a mobile robot. We speak about the remote control used for this robot, and the different parts for his data acquisition. In sum, a Joystick for the detection, which is wired to Arduino card that decodes the received data to be sent into a computer, after using LabVIEW on this computer, we will be able to generate the control signal via WIFI, this data is received by an internal embedded system of this robot called MyRIO.
Then, we use LabVIEW on the computer to read this data from the acquisition system through a defined loop, and each time, this program returns a result that will be transmitted to the embedded robot. Each operation has its proper code: Arduino configuration, control, analogical data display, robot control |
