This thesis deals with the behavior, design, and sizing the nailed wall, the first part of the thesis concerns the bibliographic knowledge of soil nailing. Then another chapter presents an analysis and design of nailed walls.
In the second part, the use of the finite element method in the geotechnical field is very current, for great projects. One can carry out finite element analyses in order to check the stability of a work in interaction with his environment,
This work is part of studies dedicated to understanding the behavior of this type of work, study is undertaken to develop a numerical model to our project, which relates to the interaction soil with various works placed in an urban site. to describe the behavior of reinforced nailing with a particular focus on the effect of phassage construction on the behavior of the nailed wall structures, the effect of the spacing of nails and Effects of nail length (length depending Wall height of L / H).
The works concerned are: nails, shotcrete (siding) and an excavation.
Parametric study shows the effect of the parameters of calculations and the parameters
geotechnical on the results. To achieve the pursued goal, work will be divided into three chapters.
First, a short outline of the finite element method, One chose the code finite elements

Starting from the morh coulomb soil model.
The refences models which taken like starting base it the foundations models calculated and adopted according to considerate loading from the wind turbine on-shore with the 35m height, we chose it as example of calcul in this study.
For the numerical modeling of the foundations models adopted, we chose the finite element code PLAXIS (two dimension), which allows us to pass a real complex project the numerical model, to consider the settlement acceptable and stress stat below the foundation.
Concern parametric studies we use the single pile model reference for o memory, this study shows the effect of design parameters and geotechnical parameters on the results, we use the same project with the same data every time you change the parameter, parameter calculation and geotechnical parameter. The comparison is made on charts for each parameter.
The study highlighted the important influence not only parameters but also geotechnical
modeling parameters on calculation results; we can explain the very different results that can be
achieved for the same subject by several users even for one software."

The design of the piles that oppose the movement of the ground can be made using different methods. Pressure or displacement based methods as well as numerical methods have prevailed over the design of piles for a long time. Kourkoulis et al. (2012) proposed a new concept regarding the design of stabilizing piles. this concept consists of a hybrid methodology that combines analytical approaches in slope stability, with three-dimensional finite element numerical analysis. This method was developed only to analyze piles placed in the middle of unstable slopes and for a minimum spacing between piles S = 2D (spacing equals two times the diameter of pile). The applicability of the hybrid method for the analysis and design of the slope stabilizing piles placed at the toe of the slopes and contiguous pile walls is the subject of the present research. The decoupled model of the hybrid method was also used for the analysis of helical piles subjected to ground movement. The code Abaqus was used for the different simulations. The simplified model for the analysis and design of stabilizing piles placed at the toe of the slopes and the contiguous pile walls showed a coherence with that applied for the piles located in the middle of the slope. Regarding the performance of the helical piles subjected to ground movement, it was found that the helices, called also plates, placed near the slip surface move with the pile because of the soil mass movement. This movement mobilizes the soil reactions under and above the helices, creating a resisting moment that increases the resistance offered by the helical piles. The presence of plates does not only lead to an increase in the resistance force, but also to a decrease in the pile head deflection.Note de contenu :
