Résumé : |
With advances in the fields of power electronics, control, magnetic materials, models and simulation software, and its many advantages (simple construction and robust, reliability, performance, cost, ...), the switched reluctance machine (SRM) continues to find niche applications both high speed (electric traction, embedded applications, ...), at low speed and high torque (direct drive wind turbines). Hence the interest for this type of machine, the research team which was prepared this Phd thesis wants a contribution to the improved performance in terms of average torque, torque to weight or electromagnetic characteristics for two prototype SRM 6/4 and 8/6 double salience. The approach was to first perform a comprehensive literature search of magnetic materials and their physical properties to examine their impacts on the electromagnetic characteristics and loss of MRV. This step is followed by analytical pre-sizing of the proposed prototype which allowed calculation of the geometrical parameters. The next step was to create a finite element model of the machine in saturated state using the software FEMM coupled with MATLAB in order to easily perform simulations in interactive mode.
These models and software have allowed us to analyze, on the one hand, the impact of various physical properties of magnetic materials on the electromagnetic characteristics of the SRM and calculate the losses associated according by three different methods and, on the other hand, to implement three algorithms (GA, PSO and DE) mono- and multi-objective optimization of the geometric parameters of the two prototypes considered. The results of different simulations realized in FEMM – MATLAB have been discussed and have significantly improved the average
torque and torque to weight.
This work is now continued to optimize various control parameters of the converter associated with the SRM. |
