The simulated results obtained
using each one of both methods are experimentally validated. In the first case. The relationships of the equivalent impedance are analytically determined for various heterostructures , and mixture laws giving the effective dielectric permittivity and resistivity are also deduced in function of the concentration of inclusions and both the permittivity and resistivity of each component of the heterostructure. To illustrate this method, experimental validations are achieved on sandwich structures and on samples containing identical aligned inclusions, in the form of square section
tubes, embedded in a polymer matrix and which are filled either by air or water. In the second case, the effective complex permittivity is computed by a numerical approach based on the boundary integral equation method (BIEM) and the PHI3D package. The considered. Heterostructure consisting of a host material and inclusions periodically distributed. It’s also shown that this method enables to
predict the presence of inclusions and their concentration in a given heterostructure. Experimental validations, carried out on samples composed of cylindrical cavities, filled either by water or air, embedded in a polymer matrix, are also presented. - 2006 . - 125 f.

Génie CivilTags : Méthodes électriques Pates pures Materiaux de construction Index. décimale : 624 Génie civil Résumé : Most of building materials nowadays are composite materials. These materials knew a big success which results from their capacity to be conceived "à la carte". Indeed, one can modify their behaviour by acting on the nature and properties of the constituent materials, the geometry of inclusions (shape and dimensions), their concentration, orientation and position within the host material (matrix). However, some problems that can affect their performances can occur during their exploitation leading to the appearance of cracks, cavities, water within these cavities and to the deterioration of reinforcements resulting of various stresses (chemical attack, heating, earthquake, non adequate proportioning …). Thus it’s important to characterise these composite materials at their conception and to follow the evolution of their properties during their exploitation.
This work is aimed at the characterisation of building materials consisting of three dimensions homogeneous matrices (host matrix) and dielectric/conducting inclusions using a non destructive method. This method combines two methods: dielectric and electric. These both methods enable to evaluate the presence of inclusions, their concentration and their nature in a given heterostructure. The samples we considered are of cubic shape; they consist of cement paste containing air cavities, cavities filled with water, steel and glass inclusions.
The obtained results are very encouraging and makes the method we developed an interesting tool for building engineering applications.Diplôme : Magistère En ligne : ../theses/gcivil/BOU5848.pdf Permalink : index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=5358 Caractérisation des materiaux de construction par les méthodes électriques.
