This research seeks the answers of the questions that reveal the reasons of returning to the past or the history, and restoring the set in a different period of time, showing the secret of retardation and defeat in
the past and in the present.
the novels of "Rachid boudjedra" and can be considered a factor from a lot of factors of formulation of nations cultural identities, because of her formation of the public perceptions, and the historical periods and cultural transformation of communities, and through the tools and the mechanisms to enable use to beastly fact. And the disclosure of colonial culture that components both through cultural institutions on the
development of novel in the framework of the pressures stated or implied in order to legitimize the colonial presence imparted.
This research is devised into four chapters and the entrance; we tacked at the entrance to the contemporary trends and projects of the novel.
we dealt with in the first chapter the theorical concept of history, and how the functioning of the narrative text of history, in addition to the establishment of historical origination novelist and concept of the Arabs
and the West, and the relationship of the novel in history, and the different dealings with the events of history between the historical novel and novel imagination historical, also dealt with the problematic theory
and the bilingualism when novelist "Rachid boudjedra".
In the second chapter we toke the modern narrative and the narrative style when novelist properties, we showed the concept of the narrative and analyzed it in the levels of the narrator in the novel "laylyat
imraa arek" and narrative composition and employed history in the novel "Tafakouk" .
After that we moved to the narrative style novelist as the book, and employed vernacular, classical, French, and then we talked about after the show to give the impression to his concept and it's types and characteristics we analyses the suggestions in the novel "Al halazoon Alaanid".
In the third chapter forming the narrative style in the some novels "Rachid boudjedra" study starting novels "Alhalazoon Alaanid" of space cover and title and down to the novel "Maarakat azoukak" in terms of the structure of the place novelist between the reality of history and imagined space and the manifestations of the spatial space in novel "Timimoun" and "Darbat jazaa".
About time, his concept and the way to recall history in the novel (Maarakat al zoukak ) and the retrievals, and the frequent story study, and the busyness of memory and imagination and the time's rhythms in the novel of (Alinbihar) has been mentioned .
In the fourth and the last chapter, we focused on the novel "Maarakat al zoukak" and "A thousand year and year of nostalgia" as examples deserves study and analysis, and where we stand on the most important personalities and types of the two versions of history : alterable and is well known and artwork.
We ended the research codification of the most important results obtained through this study serve as an invitation to a deeper study and new approach to the Algerian novel and reach their bottom.

This reserach, an artistic study, deals with irony in the modern Algerian novel. It investigats the dimensions of the irony act and the aesthetics of its effect on the reader through the interaction of the characters, with each other and with place, time and context. The reserach consists of theoritical and practicals chapters that aimed to cover the issues required for the investigation, by attempting to expose the use of irony as a literary means of expression and alteration. Accordingly, the theoritical part, after giving the ordinary meaning and the technical meaning of irony in the classical books and dictionaries of language and in the Arabic and Western encyclopedias of terminology, presented the notions of irony and the realisation of its discourse in the Arabic and Wetsern cultures. It also exposed in detail sysnonyms of irony like sarcasm, laughter, and pardox, and delved into the rhetoric of irony and the ways of its expression in the Algerian novel, such as interrogation, hyperbole, and repetition, while overviewing the meachanisms of irony in the Algerian novel, including intertextuality (with its various kinds), sracastic imitation, the caricaturing of irony, sarcastic paradox and their relationship with irony, as well as through the coevring of issues like verbal violence and irony, dialogue and the novel, characters and irony, space in the novel and irony, time in the novel and irony, and finally, irony in the textual thresholds. The latter focused on the lingusitic sign compared with the other signs. Such thresholds are the title, as the research has attempted to investigate the dimensions of irony in the titles of novels that have been analysed as in a corpus chosen from Algerian novels, be they main titles or subtitles.
