It emphasised the importance of reading-writing connections, and suggested a remedial procedure that would help learners express themselves in better English. In order to explore the impact it is hypothesised that If second-year students at the Department of English at Laghouat University looked at finished pieces of writing (as models) and saw how ideas were constructed and developed, this would enhance their achievement of paragraph unity and connectedness in their written performance. To check the hypothesis, quantitative and qualitative methods were adopted. An experimental design, a
questionnaire and follow-up questions were used. A sample of forty-six second-year university students of English at Laghouat University (Algeria) was randomly chosen. These students were divided into control and experimental groups of 23 students for each. Data were collected from in-class on an assigned topic on paragraph writing with comparison and contrast method of development. To compare the achievement of the two groups, a pre-test and a post-test were carried out. Students’ compositions were rated and analysed by the teacher of writing using an analytic scoring rubric for coherence traits. The treatment was followed by follow-up questions with the Experimental Group members who were asked about their experiences, opinions and how they handled modelling strategy. The results demonstrated that the treatment group achieved significant progress, with post-test scores which were higher than both their pre-test scores and post-test scores of the Control Group. The researcher validates the hypothesis (H1) and accepts that a model-based instruction has influenced positively EFL students’ paragraph writing achievements.

The direct equations are formulated in a mathematical model based on the finite volume method and a program has been achieved to simulate the equations system.
This modelling visualizes the effect of the permeability, the current density, the Schmidt number and the installation of obstacle in the canal flow, on the reactants transport and distribution in a PEMFC. The performance of fuel cell was deduced according to the operational parameters (temperature, pressure, water content, permeability and membrane thickness).Diplôme : Magistère En ligne : ../theses/physique/BEK6458.pdf Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=9494 Etude numerique des phenomenes de transferts de chaleur et de masse dans une pile a combustible de type PEMFC [texte imprimé] / Hassiba Bekkouche, Auteur ; Abla Chaker (Née Abdelmoumene), Directeur de thèse . - constantine [Algérie] : Université Constantine 1, 2014 . - 89 f. ; 30 cm.

They are covered with lightweight materials such as: Aluminium, composite materials, or adaptable materials. The assembly of all these elements and materials constitutes a structure of high rigidity and high quality of mechanical strength as well as a state of the art very considerable in the field of aeronautics and aerospace. In this context, a presentation of the different materials and their state of the art in the field of the application of aeronautics will be presented. A theoretical analysis and modelling by the finite element method these structures has been studied. This analysis can be performed discretely (element by element) using the method of the bar elements, beam element or plate elements or by continuous models representing the discrete structure and the material that
covers it. An analysis of the stresses in the main parts of the aircraft was presented for different types of materials and internal structures of aircraft wings in the static state. Experimental and numerical characterizations of nanoparticles bonded joints typically used in aerospace applications are presented. First, samples of single-lap joints produced using a composite reinforced with carbon fibre fabric (2% graphéne by weight), were analysed. Shear tests were performed to measure the resistances of the bonded joints, to assess the structural performances of the structures with and without nanoparticles. Second, finite-element numerical models were applied based on experiments on adhesive joints; in particular a numerical simulation of the adhesive lap-joint model was performed using ANSYS software. Analyses were performed for the joints with unfilled and
nanoparticles adhesive, focusing on the cooling process during which adhesive single-lap joints are mainly generated. The experimental and numerical model results generally agree quite well. The nanoparticles of the Graphéne increased the stiffness of each lap joint under a rational load charge.
The nanostructure adhesive increased the failure load, but this increase depended on various parameters, including adhesive structural features and the structures of the nanostructures produced. The reinforced adhesive nanostructure was found to decrease the weight.

Biologie Résumé : The computer tool is currently requisite in research in biology to treat the stream of data
produced and to optimize its progress. The molecular stowage or '' docking '' is, indeed,
one of the methods commonly used in pharmacochimistry to discover and to finalize of
new medicines by screening of thousands of compounds for a protein target. The two
programs of molecular stowage, Surflex and FlexX, have been developed to help towards
the clarification of molecules with therapeutic activity. They proved to be effective enough
to reproduce the experimental tests because 88,4 % of the values of RMSD are lower
than 2 Å for the first one and 80,6 % for the second. They were used to study the inhibition
of the 1bsj, a peptide deformylase belonging to Escherichia coli, by diverse molecules of
ligands to discover the best inhibitors of the enzyme; this last one being found at most of
the pathogenic microorganisms. The results are comparable, generally, for both programs.
The first study highlighted the actinonin as the better inhibitor of the enzyme. Mono and bi
substitutions realized on the actinonin showed that it is possible to increase, in a
significant way, the affinity of the actinonin and its energy of interaction with the enzyme
by a well-judged choice of fragments to replace. Indeed, the replacement of the ethyl in
position 9, positioned at P1' region, by an amide and the pentyl, located at P3' region, by a
phenyl in the actinonin increase the affinity of more than 2 units (6.97 - 9.33) and the
energy of interaction of 10 units (-31.880 to -41.141 Kj / mole). The second study allowed
to identify the isoxazole-3-hydroxamic acid and its by-products as of new no peptidic
inhibitors of the 1bsj. Finally, the indole and its by-products, a new class of inhibitors
acting specifically on the bacterial PDF, presented satisfactory values of affinities with the
1Lry and the 1Lqy.Diplôme : Doctorat En ligne : ../theses/biologie/CHI4998.pdf Permalink : index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=1746 Calculs et modélisations des intéractions peptide déformylase-substances antibacteriennes à l'aide de techniques de " Docking" (arrimage) moléculaire [texte imprimé] / Abdelouahab Chikhi, Auteur ; Univ. de Constantine, Éditeur scientifique ; Mustapha Bencharif, Directeur de thèse . - 2007 . - 123 f.

This calculation minimizes the distances between the probed points and the ideal surface. When the probe touches the part, the actual point of contact is unknown; it substitutes an estimated point from the center and radius of the probe and the normal docking. This creates a doubt about the actual position of the palpated point. This doubt is spreading even on the parameters of the associated surface, as well as the geometric construction for the technical verification specifications. Within this framework, standard ISO 9000 requires with the metrologist to estimate the uncertainty with which, it obtained his measurement. In this context, the current work, consists in establishing a program in Visual basic-6 serving on the one hand to determine the parameters characterizing surfaces to be measured and on the other hand, one to estimate uncertainties on these parameters to emphasize the impact of the latter on the checking of the geometrical specifications.
