Therefore, when building infrastructure, manufacturers are enormous difficulties, especially in some regions, including the CONDE-Smendou. In this region spend three of the most important infrastructures of Algeria, RN3, the railway line connecting Constantine Skikda and recently the East-West highway. This is the area where companies have struggled to develop some sections of the East-West highway, and this
because of the poor quality of materials "rock", but also because of the misinterpretation of investigations made by consulting firms.
We are mainly interested in this study the formation of the rocks of this region. In this context and varied geological and geomorphological complex, characterized by high tectonic activity and active seismic activity, we examined the morphological consequences of tectonic and erosion processes.
The main areas that we have discussed in this magister memory are the dismemberment and evolution of structural relief terrain and tectonic movements, analysis of regional structural morphological markers, active tectonics and seismic activity, then the study and characterization of the quality of the materials present.
The tools and techniques used in the context of this work include imaging and geomatics as well as litho stratigraphic correlation. Furthermore, X-ray analyzes on a series of samples allowed us to have a better characterization of materials and rocks making up this region.
After analyzing our different results, we were able to develop two morpho-structural maps (scale 1:
20,000). These cards made from the interpretation of aerial photographs, provide a wealth of information about the origin of morphological elements (scree cone droppings, landslides and solifluxion) and the origin of structural elements (fault scarps, dip and accidents). These maps reveal a rather complex fracture network that confirms the existence and the role played by some accident directions, their essential nature and the extent of their scopes. This data can help to update
the currently used map showing a relatively even terrain, moderately unstable geological and without morphological peculiarities. - 93 f. ; 30 cm.

The region of Sidi Maarouf and its surroundings in north-eastern Algeria is distinguished by the presence of a number of massive carbonates of Jurassic age (Kef Sidi Marouf, Kef oulehmame and Kef Derdja). These massives carbonates, belonging to the external domain of maghrebide range are located in the transition zone between the external and the internal domain, represented by metamorphic formations of the Kabyle plinth.
The mountains of Kef Sidi Marouf and Kef Boulehmame present an interest economic region, because they contain iron deposits and carbonate rocks that can be used for steel, cement and aggregates, while Kef Derdja contains only one index of a copper-iron-baryte mineralization and a quarry for the extraction of limestone blocks to rockfill.
These carbonate mountains occupying a peridiapiric position are formed mainly by carbonate rocks of jurassic age. The formations of these massifs show traces of several tectonic events (fracturing, grinding, rebound layers in the vertical).
The intense fracturing of the carbonate rocks greatly promoted the circulation of fluids and led the development of dissolution phenomena of karst, dolomitization, silicification and mineralization.
The ore bodies form the ore deposits of study area have variable morphologies and volumes. However, cluster and lode are the most common.
Mineralization of carbonate masses of the region of Sidi Marouf is composed mainly of iron oxides and hydroxides (hematite, goethite and limonite), plus a barium-copper mineralization.
The geological and gîtological data of mineralizations hosted in carbonate mountains formations in the region of Sidi Marouf reveal a set up of these mineralizations by hydrothermal solutions.

main sedimentological characteristics of Hamra Quartzite reservoir, which is the one of the
largest oil reservoirs in the Algerian Palaeozoic basin.
The results show that the "Quartzite Hamra" with homogeneous facieswas deposited in
Arenig in a shallow marine environment
Petrographic analysis reveals that Hamra Quartzite are classified as quartzsarénites (orarenites
quartzite) consisting essentially of rocks associated quartz grains with some heavy resistant
minerals.
The Formation khew during burial , diagenetic processes that have modified its
mechanical properties and resulted in the complete degradation of its porosity ;
The diagenetic sequence of the Hamra Quartzite reservoir occurred in three phases:
eodiagenesis (early), mesodiagenesis (mid), and telodiagenesis (late) phases. These phases are
directly related to tectonic events that affected the study area, and are controlled mainly by the
Hercynian unconformity
The fracturing study shows that the Quartzite Hamra reservoir contains a network of
natural fracturing important, which can play a very important role in improving performance
in this field and increasing its primary Petrophysical characteristic especially the permeability.
