the challenge of climate change, but the specification of an electronic power interface is
subject to requirements not only for the renewable energy source itself, But also to its effects
on the operation of the feeding system. Such perturbations witch can degrade the quality of
the energy within an electrical network, especially in the high power systems connected to the
network. This thesis proposes solutions in order to improve the quality of electrical energy by
adopting direct power control (DPC) to PWM rectifiers connected to the distribution network.
The performances of these algorithms are analysed and tested experimentally as well as by
simulation. Finally, an example of a wind power conversion system based on a doubly fed

optimal strategy for the operation of hybrid energy systems based on renewable energy.
To do this, we theoretically and experimentally studied some photovoltaic systems. The
procedure was the analysis of the internal and external parameters of photovoltaic cells based on the code data of the illumination measurements, the temperature over a long period. We studied the theory of wind systems and performed experiments on an experimental system developed locally.
We studied the theoretical models for the production of methane by anaerobic digesters, and carried out experiments on an experimental digester performed locally. We studied the theory of photothermal systems and conducted tests on photo-thermal developed locally.
Given the energy loss during conversion and regulation, we studied the conversion of
electrical energy from Renewable Energy systems. We conducted the study and choppers prototype simulation PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to minimize energy conversion losses. The systems considered are nonlinear systems with more or less filter first and second order.
To reduce the cost of energy system based on a single renewable resource; we have adopted an approach of considering based on zonal characteristics and demand, the combination of two or more renewable resources that are available (solar photovoltaic, solar photo-thermal, wind power, biogas obtained by anaerobic bio reactors).
We used an optimal allocation of management resources ER model that exploits the internal and environmental characteristics. Linear programming model has been used in the case where resources are continuous and in case where these resources are discrete units, they also available.

Recorded RES distribution systems are becoming more important and should play a bigger role in the near future. Connecting RES facilities to distribution networks involves addressing several technical challenges for grid operators, who perceive renewable energies as a source of complications for the electricity system. Congestion is one of the most complicated issues that can arise when integrating renewable energy into the electrical system that cannot be left without treatment. For that, this work examines a corrective method of an overloaded electrical system in the presence of a wind farm integrated in a distribution network, taking into account the cost of congestion. Attempts were done in order to eliminate the overloads and monitor the power flow on the lines using as the first suggestion the UPFC universal power flow controller. The second proposed methodology is the ELM Extreme Learning Machine. This algorithm is extremely fast, having excellent performance in terms of generalization. The fundamental point of this successful study is the relief of congested structures. In addition, other objectives are achieved: improvement of the voltage profile, avoidance of load shedding, reduction of losses and congestion cost. The proposed congestion management methods were tested for an Algerian power system with 22 busbars at the city of Adrar. The results presented in this work were discussed and compared. These results show an improvement in the behavior of the electrical network.

Thus their ability to maintain synchronism when inserting a renewable energy source at high rates, and following the change in the topology of the electrical network due to the separation of a transmission line. A control methodology proposed to demonstrate the impact of
PV penetration sources on rotor angle stability, and improve their effect by using STATCOM. The PV effect on the transient stability of the power system is shown by its effect on the angular position of the synchronous generator rotor, which in turn is related to its contribution to the total capacity of the generator, and the faults location on the grid. The simulation results show the efficiency and durability of the control methodology with PV and STATCOM, to improve the rotor angle stability of the generators.

Rising fuel prices around the world and the impact of greenhouse gas emissions coming from fossil resources on the environment provide more for the use of renewable energy resources in power grids. The concept of the hybrid system is the most favorable in order to integrate clean sources into a conventional distribution network. This hybrid system can operate as a connected or disconnected from the grid to supply rural areas with electrical energy. It can include distributed energy resources as well as energy storage systems and loads. The integration of renewable energies in a microgrid in isolated operation can cause considerable impacts on electrical values such as voltage and frequency. This is why in this thesis, an optimal sizing and control strategies of a microgrid comprising photovoltaic productions, a wind generator and battery energy storage systems are proposed. First, an optimization technique based on a case study by HOMER Pro software is used to find the optimal sizing of a microgrid. Second, an intelligent control strategy based on fuzzy logic is applied to regulate the voltage and frequency of an island microgrid using a single inverter. And finally, an energy management method based on droop control is proposed for multiple inverter operation. The simulation results obtained show the precision and efficiency of the proposed solutions.
