The influence of different intrinsic and extrinsic factors on hematological parameters has been the subject of several previous works around the world. In Algeria, studies about all these factors in dairy cows are quite rare. It would therefore be interesting to provide for the veterinarians the usual values, in order to help them in the subclinical phase of the diagnosis. The first part is a bibliographical summary on blood physiology in cattle, the second part is an experimental study. A first section establishes the usual values of hematological parameters (RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, PLT, WBC, Number of LYM, MONO, NEU, EOS and BASO) and ionic elements (Na, K, Cl, Ca and P) in cattle, as well as the
correlation between these parameters and the intrinsic factors (age, breed, gender and physiological stage). Overall, the values are within physiological norms. For intrinsic factors, the variations are significant for age for all parameters of red and white blood cells. Concerning breed, only number of NEU is significantly different. For gender, the levels of PLT as well as some erythrocyte indices (MCH, MCHC) are the only variables. Finally, for the physiological stage, all the parameters studied fluctuate significantly between stages, excepting HGB, PLT, number of EOS, BASO and Na. The second part studies the influence of extrinsic factors (season and breeding methods). The results show a significant influence of the season on all parameters of red and white line except RBC, HGB and MCV. The breeding method has a significant influence on HGB, HCT and number of EOS.

Biologie Résumé : The Culicidae causes grave damages both to the man and to the animals by their
potential vector roles of infectious diseases, such as the malaria, the yellow fever, the dengue,
the filariose and the plague.
The wet zone Sebkhet Ezzemoul and Chott Tinsilt are sites considered to establish a
systematic inventory and study the ecology of mosquitoes. To this end, we analyzed their
habitat by the determination of ecosystem surface water physicochemical parameters,
followed their spatial and temporal variations and their Culicidae various species impacts.
The species identified belong to two subfamilies: Anophélinae with one genus
Anopheles and Culicinae with three genera Aedes, Culiseta and Culex. The Aedes genus is
represented best by far particularly with the species Aedes dorsalis, Aedes detritus and Aedes
caspius, which the presence is in relation to the type of prospected lodging.
In this study, the salinity seems to be a parameter determining in the distribution of
collected species.

The prevalence of this parasitosis is estimated at 18.5% in 2011 and 17.0 in 2012, with monthly peaks of 32.6% and 28.2% respectively. Our study has shown that this parasitosis is more significant in the coastal governorates such as Jijel, (17.6%), compared with the inland ones (Constantine and Sétif with respectively 5.05% and 2.70%). When there is strong prevalence, low parasitic loads have been recorded. This may be explained by the rarefaction of snails habitats, outside the periods of high pluviometry, but no study has been undertaken in this matter.
Experimental infestations carried out on 20 sheep with Paramphostomum daubneyi have shown that only those receiving 1000 métacercarias have shown haematological modifications (light anaemia, polycythemia and eosinophilia), between the 9th and 12th postinfestation.
Malacological investigations in the governorate of Jijel in 2010 have shown that molluscs, intermediary hosts, are infested during all year with a higher prevalence during the humid period. Experimental infestations on 3 species of Lymneidas by P.daubneyi have shown that Lymnea viatrix is the most apt to produce métacercarias inside a laboratory, compared to both Galba truncatula and Lymnea neotropica
The identification of the paramphistomes species using molecular tools has confirmed the existence of two species which are P. daubneyi and P. microbothrium, in the various governorates of the Eastern Algeria (Jijel, Tarf, Constantine and Sétif).Diplôme : Doctorat en sciences En ligne : ../theses/veterinaire/TIT6404.pdf Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=9421 La paramphistomose gastro‐duodenale des ruminants dans le nord‐est Algerien : Investigations sur les bovins et le mollusque hote [texte imprimé] / Amal Titi, Auteur ; Abdesselam Mekroud, Directeur de thèse . - constantine [Algérie] : Université Constantine 1, 2013 . - 152 f. ; 30 cm.
