This problem concerns the translation evaluation methods which result from the lack of universality and specific guidelines to follow when evaluating students’ translation. A theoretical survey was carried out to find different methods and criteria of translation evaluation, and then a questionnaire was administered to teachers of translation at the Department of English, University Mentouri of Constantine.
