Résumé :	This current study aims to investigate both teachers’ and students’ perception towards the use of Cooperative Learning as a teaching method in improving Master 2 students’ level of selfesteem at the department of Letters and the English Language, Frères Mentouri University, Constantine 1. To reach this aim, an exploratory research design was adopted. Two questionnaires were administered online as a quantitative data collection tool; the first one was submitted to eight (8) teachers of the department, and the second questionnaire was given to forty (40) Master two students in the same department. The aim behind using the questionnaire is to know the teachers’ and students’ attitudes and points of view towards the use of Cooperative Learning and its effects on improving the students’ level of self-esteem. The results obtained have shown that CL has positive effects on improving the students’ levels of self-esteem. Moreover, the results show that teachers and students’ have positive attitudes toward the effectiveness of CL as a teaching method in improving the students’ selfesteem.
