Résumé :	This dissertation aims to study and analyze the British economic decline in the beginning of the twentieth century on the world stage and its impact on the independence of Ireland; we are interesting to study through this dissertation the decline of Britain and how it affected the internal and external affairs of the British Empire with the country of the Commonwealth and Ireland as study case. We are intending to prove how the economic decline of Britain had helped Ireland to get its full independence and on the other hand how this economic distress had resulted to put an end to the supremacy of Britain on the world stage. In addition to that the present dissertation examines how the economic decline affected the connection of the mother country with Ireland. In this following study we are interesting to prove that the Issue of Ireland was not at random; but it was after several historical events and sacrifices which happened during centuries resulted with a full independence.
