Résumé :	This study tackles the problems and difficulties of translating medical terminology from English into Arabic that face medicine students. This research focuses on the problems that encounter medicine students and the methods they rely on to solve those obstacles in translating the medical terms. In this research, In order to find out and identify the real problems behind translating medical terms and how they could be approached by medicine students, we utilized a questionnaire and a test from a sample of Algerian medicine students at university of medicine of Constantine. The questionnaire includes a set of seven questions, and the test contains eleven different diseases related to human body. The results have confirmed that medicine students’ background and knowledge in English medical terminology is insufficient due to their unawareness of the right equivalence of the terms in Arabic and to the lack of up-to-date English/Arabic medical dictionaries.
