The objectives of this research are to find out whether the students were interested in subtitling programs, and if they noticed the mistakes when watching these English programs. The hypotheses of this research investigate the students’ awareness of the errors that were made in these subtitles. In order to test these hypotheses, a questionnaire and a test have been submitted to first year Master students of English. The results of the study show that there are potential problems in translating and noticing the errors that occurred in subtitles.
