Résumé : |
The following research examines the US gun laws making, focusing on the role played by the National Rifle Association in law-ratifications and accounting for the outcomes of gun availability and how they created major problems for the government and the citizens as well. The study is divided into two significant chapters. The opening chapter studies the NRA’s political transformation and how powerful and dominant this organization is, how that resulted in an overflow of guns among civilians causing the escalation of gun-related crimes. It also explains how gun-laws differ from state to state. The second chapter shows how Americans see guns and reports the consequences of people’s easy access to guns and how it fuels gangs, mass shootings, and suicides. |
