Titre : American Feminism: Women’s Journey For Achieving Equality Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Khadidja Lekbir, Auteur ; Mounia Belounis, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2020 Importance : 65 f. Format : 30cm. Note générale : Une copie electronique PDF disponible au BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : the feminist movement gender discrimination. Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The Feminist movement has the vantage in allowing American women to be what they
are since it opened the door for their dreams to become real. The present research traces the
movement from its first appearance in Europe by the middle ages, and how it started to spread
amongst the western world. Then, it transfers the interest to the United States and how
feminism began there with shedding the light on the three waves and their leading figures plus
the tools they used to share their beliefs, without forgetting the interaction of the government
and the legislations it enacted to improve the situation. In developing this paper, it is
important to analyze American women‘s participation in some aspects as politics and
economy to show the impact that feminism brought to their lives. This research comes to the
conclusion that feminism did such considerable changes and brought new things for women,
but it did not erase the gender discrimination.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=13818 American Feminism: Women’s Journey For Achieving Equality [texte imprimé] / Khadidja Lekbir, Auteur ; Mounia Belounis, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2020 . - 65 f. ; 30cm.

Titre : British diplomacy in the middle-east and the balfour zeitgeist influence on policy-making 1915-1929 Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Anes A. Lounis, Auteur ; Mounia Belounis, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2016 Importance : 77.f Format : 30 cm Note générale : copie électronique disponible (PDF ) Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Langue Anglaise Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : This research scrutinizes the British promises to the Arabs which are embodied in the Faisal-McMahon Correspondence, the provisions of the inter-Allies Sykes-Picot Agreement, and the commitment Britain expressed in the Balfour Declaration to Zionism and the eventual decision to confirm the National Home policy, the Declaration preaches for, by the White Paper of 1922. The first chapter of this thesis explores the two major British endeavours in the area prior to the Balfour Declaration; it aspires to point out the contradictions and inconclusiveness of the British foreign policy regarding the Middle-East in general and Palestine in particular. Furthermore, the second chapter focuses most on the Balfour Declaration and its possible repercussions; it probes the numerous reports about the irrationality and non-viability of the Jewish National Home policy as well as the influential drive that it enjoyed over the British foreign policy-making during the period ranging from 1917 to 1929. The discussion reveals that the wartime British foreign policy vis-à-vis the Middle-East and Palestine indulged in bias, and in which irrationality was a dominant aspect throughout the period leading up to 1929. In the end, it can be said that the British diplomacy had been operating within larger imperialistic schemes. Titre : The electoral college : How democratic is it? Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Chehrazed Aouati, Auteur ; Mounia Belounis, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2017 Importance : 51 f. Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : British and american studies the electoral college american political system presidential elections Federal
system.Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The American governmental system considered as one of the most complicated
systems in the world. The American president is not directly elected by the people but rather
by the Electoral College. This paper allows the reader to have a deep understanding of the
American Electoral College that was created in the Philadelphia convection of 1787. What
were the reasons behind its creation and how is it evolved? The Electoral College goes hand in
hand with the Federal system and completes it. This work discusses the option of abolition of
the Electoral College and the arguments that are in favor and against it. It also explores the
recent example of the 2016’s election in the United States to clarify both the role of the
Electoral College and the reasons behind the conflicts between the two sides. However, the
main concern of this study is to explore the debate over the democracy in the United States.
Had the Electoral College helped to achieve democracy or has it simply limited it?Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=4156 The electoral college : How democratic is it? Note générale : une copie electronique pdf disponible au buc Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Attacks, Policies, Strategies, Foreign Relations, Terrorism Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The United States of America has seen remarkable developments in its foreign policy
since its establishment till nowadays. This is due to the many events that recorded
significant impact on the shaping of US foreign policy and perhaps the most prominent was
the 9/11 events, which contributed significantly to change the orientations of American
international policy. This study examines whether US foreign policy has changed in the
aftermath of the attacks by focusing on the impact of the latter on foreign political visions
and strategies. We assume that US foreign policy has changed because of the many stages it
passed throught and the events it witnessed. At the end of this research, we concluded that
America cannot, really, live without an external enemy since after the collapse of the Soviet
Union; a new enemy emerged for America, namely Terrorism. We came, also, to the
conclusion that American foreign policy has really been affected by events, but this change
was at the level of strategies and policies not at the level of goals and interests.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=10427 The impact of the 9/11 attacks on the american foreign policy [texte imprimé] / Zeineb Khaldi, Auteur ; Mounia Belounis, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2018 . - 72 f. ; 30 cm.
