Résumé : |
This research work is an attempt to study the impact of participation in the oral expression course on students’ oral expression exam performance. For this, the following hypothesis was formulated: if students participate in the oral expression class, they will achieve a good performance in the exam. To check the hypothesis, we have worked on two chapters, A Theoretical chapter that includes two parts. In the first part we made a general overview about the speaking skill, and oral expression exam. In the second part, we have dealt with factors that hinder students participations and those that enhance their. In the second chapter a questionnaire was administered to (50) second year students at the English department, University of Constantine 1. And another questionnaire was handed out to (08) teachers of the same department. The results obtained from both questionnaires have revealed that students who participate in oral expression session are the ones who get good mark in exam and that confirm our hypotheses |
