Résumé :	Speaking, the most frequently used form of language skill, plays a significant role in both daily communication and educational process. Thus, speaking is a basic skill that must be mastered by students in learning a foreign language. The fundamental purpose of this study is to find out what can students do in order to successfully improve their speaking skills. Therefore, the general idea behind this work is to shed light on some effective strategies that can help the students in the development of their speaking performance. This is accomplished through a questionnaire involving a collection of data and analysis which was administrated to the third year LMD students. The results of the questionnaire showed that the majority of students require extra help in improving their English speaking skills
