Résumé :	This thesis examines the changes that have occurred in the lives of the British Muslims in the wake of 7/7 events. It discusses the issue of Islamophobia. The research evidently reveals that Islamophobia is an intrusive element in the British society and shows the reasons behind its spread after the terrorist attacks of London Bombings . My dissertation attempts to explain that 7/7 attacks intensified Islamophobia in the British society which has immediately turned its Islamophobic beliefs into a stern backlash against Muslims living in the United Kingdom. In response to the backlash , the Muslim community condemned all acts of terrorism and has attempted so often to build bridges with other communities through launching and participating in interfaith activities
