Résumé :	The goal of this study is to investigate whether the use of different speaking activities in oral expression class could motivate students in foreign language classroom to speak or not. This study is based on two questionnaires designed for teachers of oral expression and second year LMD students of English in which we have selected two samples from two different populations, the first sample included ten teachers of oral expression and the second one consists of sixty students of second year. The obtained results from both teachers and students questionnaires confirmed our hypothesis” if EFL teachers use different speaking classroom activities in oral expression class, then second year LMD students in the university of Frères Mentouri, Constantine will be motivated to speak in the classroom” in the sense that the majority of teachers and students agreed that the use of different speaking activities has a positive effect in motivating students to speak claiming that variation break the routine of the classroom.
