Résumé :	This research aims at investigating the abilities of the Second Year Master Students of biology in the translation of scientific texts from English into Arabic. The aim of this study is to find out whether students have difficulties in translation, what these difficulties and what the underlying reasons are. In order to test the hypothesis, a test and a questionnaire were presented. The results revealed that the students faced several problems which made them unable to translate this type of texts properly and appropriately. The most difficult problem was the students’ ignorance to rely on an appropriate method in order to produce high quality scientific translation; in addition to this it was put forward that the reason for the difficulties faced by the students was the lack of translation in their academic study. Through this analysis, the students were taught to suggest recommendations as a solution to the above difficulties in order to facilitate the translation process
