The problem we observed is that ST students lost their interest in studying EST. This happens due to the lack of interesting materials beside to the fact that their teachers keep on teaching GE (General English) courses only. That is why it was hypothesized that if III the method of teaching is changed according to the student’s needs, their interest will be fostered. In order to check this hypothesis, two tools of research were used: A questionnaire addressed to teachers and another one addressed to the research sample of 25 second year ST students, together with a test at Science Techniques department. After the analysis and the interpretation of the respondents’ answers, and after the discussion of the findings, ST students appear to be more interested in learning EST. And out of the findings of the research the hypothesis is positively confirmed.
