Résumé : |
Few studies were interested in the urinary infections dealt with in the town of
Constantine. The present study had like objective, on the one hand, the identification and the
study of the frequency of Escherichia coli accused in the Community urinary infections and
in addition, to establish the profile of resistance of this stock with respect to antibiotics
usually used in city medicine. The rate of insulation is of 67,3%, it is the first germ implied in
the urinary infections. The analysis of the results of the antibiogramm of these stocks, made it
possible to note a rate of resistance very high for the β-lactams (66,2% for the amoxicillin and
of 26,5% for the céfazolin). Among the 68 stocks of Escherichia coli isolated, six (8,8%) are
producing ESBL. For the aminosids, the resistance touches more the gentamycin (8,8%) more
than the amikacin (2,9%). We noted a rate of resistance of 26,5% for the acid nalidixic
whereas it is of 19,1% for the ciprofloxacin. The cotrimoxazol is not effective in 45,6% of the
cases. The nitrofurans keep all their activity because only 1,5% of our stocks are resistant to
this antibiotic. The monitoring of the resistance of this stock to antibiotics must be continuous
and systematic, based on a policy of regulation. In this field, more practically, the permanent
co-operation between clinicians and microbiologists are necessary for a therapeutic objective |
