The geo-geomorphological and morphometric properties such as lithology, morphology, slope and vegetation of the two basins are an important factor that promotes water erosion and generally a significant specific solid transport. The action of precipitation is a function of their intensity on the soil, they come into play and cause an erosion often accelerated. The sediments resulting from this soil degradation contribute to the siltation of the reservoir dam. The lithological formations outcropping in the study area have an influence on the installation of a network of ravines and gullies and on the behavior of superficial flows. Slope erosion remains a complex and dissimilar phenomenon from one basin to another; it is irregular within the same basin due to local geo-geomorphological and morphometric conditions. This study aims to establish a hierarchy of watersheds of the two wadis Lagreme and Kissir, based on morphometric indicative indices. The present work also aims to draw up thematic maps using a geographic information system (GIS) of the different processes related to water erosion, such as slopes, lithology, precipitation, and vegetation. The integration in the GIS of the various digital maps, allowed to codify the degree of vulnerability of the various parameters having impact on the water erosion in the two watersheds that are the subject of the study. The spatialization of the risk of erosion was established based on the estimate of the severity of the six factors presenting the parameters of the soil erodibility: slope, lithology, precipitation, flow, land use and lineaments. The additive combination of the various maps integrated into the GIS enabled the mapping of different classes of soil sensitization to erosion: low, medium, strong and very strong. The mapping of the degree of erosion risk was established on the principle of superposition of the different thematic maps developed using a geographic information system. Areas marked by strong and strong erosion sensitivity (orange and red color) in both basins require immediate anti-erosion interventions. Note de contenu : Annexes.

The degradation of the environment in the high plains of the Algerian is presented, through Oum El Bouaghi region, has not been a continuous phenomenon and slow but it was manifested by jerks from the time Berber, Roman, colonial and up to now. This study is interesting to put the emphasis on the environmental problems in general and determine the nature and the mode of human interventions that modify the environment according to their need in a territory vulnerable and fragile. The main objective of this study is to identify the natural and anthropogenic causes of this degradation. It is a question of elaborating a detailed cartography of the change of environment starting from the study of occupation of grounds at different dates. Our study was based on recent techniques and methods that allow us to deepen our research and to create multi-temporal and spatial maps. The region of Oum El Bouaghi to undergoes changes in the characters of the space that has resulted in the degradation of its environment. The impact of the degradation of the physical environment in the region of Oum El Bouaghi is unfortunately serious and likely to be catastrophic. The highly active fluvial dynamics in El Klab Wadi, whose lateral erosion rate is estimated at 50 to 60.5 m for 55 years, favors the risk of flooding and the disappearance of the Sigus alluvial plain; the increase in the surface area of water bodies from 1001.13 km2 in 1985 to an area of 1810.39 km2 in 2014. The degradation of the vegetation cover is translated by the reduction of the surface of the forest from 1881, 24 km2 in 1985 to 1102, 84 km2 in 2014. The flood threatens all the cities of the region (Sigus, Oum El Bouaghi and Ain Kercha) as well as the regression of underground resources in the plain of Ouled Sellem and the change of their quality by the increase of salinity. All this changed the farming mode. The results of this research led to a better understanding of environmental degradation and its impact in the region.Note de contenu :

genesations was used to explore the of earth its characteristics, vegetation and its densities, population centers and distribution of the satellite from Landsat and its distribution from optical and optical analysis of satellite images and the use of mathematical indicators based on mathematical equations to distinguish between
different regions as well as analysis and processing of statistical data for the population and elements of the climate recorded in few stations distributed within the basin using specialized GIS programs to create a database for the basin.
