During last three decades, Algeria is known for an immense and ambitious program in building of dams. Climatically, East Algeria is of the most abundant rainfall in the territory, where 25 dams are recently in operation, distributed through watersheds, with very contrasting physical characters. On the hydrotechnical plan, it’s characterized by the large variety in hydraulic properties specified from the perspective of their basins catchment, availability of lakes/reservoirs, and other auxiliary works. Data of water balance from the National Agency of Dams and Transfers (A.N.B.T) associates the follow-up and studies on the monthly and annual evolutions of entries, exits and deficits in the dams, as well as the knowledge of the hydrological behavior of the construction driven by the rainfall and other climatic fluctuations generally. Based on the analysis in ten dams with a hydrological observation over 23 years (from September 1990 to August 2013), a significant difference between the average interannual regulated volume (21.0 hm³) and theoretical regulated volume (37.7 hm³) shows an importance deficit in the water supply system which is strongly related to the frequency of wet and dry years. A chronological graphic method, with a statistical approach in data processing (type ""Bertin matrix""), is applied for three principal parameters (input, rainfall and storage rate). The result indicates a strong relationship between the parameters studied: a clear growth from the dry years from September 1990 until August 2002, and vice versa for wet years from 2003. These results are confirmed by the wavelet analysis: the dams storability are strongly influenced (from 66 % to 93 %) by a climatic variability and the left (from 7 to 34 %) is related to other factors such as the physiography of basin catchments. Results of the water balance show strong water losses by evaporation. The volume of water leaked, particularly on the karst sites (Foum El Gherza and Hammam Grouz), can reach to a significant peak specifically during the wet years 1990/91 and 2004/05. Otherwise, the phenomena of risings origins from excessive volumes evacuated from reservoirs or drainage of dams as details in the flood study for three dams Cheffia, Zardezas and Foum El Gherza. The quantification of sediment volumes in the dams (bathymetric campaigns 2004 and 2014) shows a reduction in storage capacity of the dams over time with a storage loss of 231 hm³ according to the survey in 2004, and 328 hm³ comparing to 2014. Finally, the analysis focuses on the inter-basin water transfer systems from large dams, and on the possibility of an interconnected management system to cooperate the basins in Eastern Algeria.Note de contenu : Annexes. Biologie Résumé :
After presenting an exhaustive catalog of wild bees of the Megachilidae family, several determination keys of taxa of this family and a first representation of their distribution throughout eastern Algeria, we can release, at the end of this thesis, a first global vision of taxonomic characteristics, biogeographical and ecological of Megachilidae of this region. 102 taxa, 21 genera, 43 sub genera of Megachilidae were collected from seven localities of eastern Algeria (Skikda, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela and Tébessa) during the years 2007, 2008 and 2009. This work also brought out the presence of 8 new species for the Algerian fauna: Osmia anceps (Pérez , 1895) Osmia leaiana schachti Warncke , 1988 ;
Osmia argyropyga (Pérez , 1879) ; Anthidium Florentinum Fabricius, 1775 ; Anthidium amabile ( Alfken , 1932) and Pseudoanthidium enslini ( Alfken , 1928) ; Stelis simillima (Morawitz,1876). Megachile versicolor (Smith, 1844 ).
Among 8 new species, 4 taxa have been the subject of two international publications: Aguib et al. (2010) and Aguib et al. (2014). We also noted in our results that 5 species are endemic to Algeria: Chelostoma edentulum (Pérez , 1895) ; Heriades fertoni ( Benoist 1938) ; Hofferia mauritanica ( Lucas, 1846) ; Osmia purpurata ( Ducke , 1900) ; Megachile sexmaculata (Alfken , 1942). 7 species are endemic to North Africa : Chelostoma carinulum Pérez, 1895 ;Hoplitis quadrispina ( Tkalců , 1992); Hoplitis rubricrus ( Friese , 1899) ; Hoplitis ursina (Friese , 1921) ; Osmia (Neosmia) tingitana ( Benoist, 1969); Hoplosmia dido ( Gribodo , 1894) ;
Pseudoanthidium stigmaticorne Dours , 1873) . 3 subspecies are also endemic to North Africa.
These are: Osmia caerulescens cyanea (Fabricius, 1793) ; Hoplosmia anceyi biarmica (Zanden ,1994) and Anthidium manicatum barbarum ( Lepeleteir , 1841) . We also examined for each species, the geographical distribution in the world and in eastern Algeria, the flight period, floral choice and sometimes, the phenology and ecology of some abundant species.Diplôme : Doctorat en sciences En ligne : ../theses/biologie/AGU6638.pdf Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=9772 Biogéographie et monographie des megachilidae (Hymenoptera : Apoidea) dans le nord est algérien [texte imprimé] / Sihem Aguib, Auteur ; K. Biologie Résumé : Algerian forest patrimony is estimated at 4 million hectares, including forests, Scrub and brush. This forest is exposed to natural and anthropogenic hazards that cause severe degradation resulting mainly in continued regressive evolution and a ubstantial loss of wealth. Among the natural threats is the climate conditions and particularly the temperature of the environment in which forest ecosystems evolve. In addition to its action on life processes, on growth and on phenology of species, temperature can change also the biogeographic areas of ecosystems.
In this study we analyzed the temperature to characterize the thermal environment of
eastern Algeria and the effects of its variation on the dynamics and photosynthetic activity of forest ecosystems in this vast area. The used data is the temperatures for a period of 30 consecutive years (1982-2011) and spectral index (NDVI) which can detect the photosynthetic signal above the canopy.
Statistical analysis of long temperature series reveals that the warming observed
worldwide is already noticed in eastern Algeria. The majority of the wilayas exposed to this hazard, where the trend is more pronounced for the annual maximum temperature, may reach 3 °C/30years, an increase of 0.1C°/year. Thus, the estimate of thermal field for each pixel in eastern Algeria was realized by using Geostatistical methods based on multiple regression between temperature and the explanatory variables describing the relief. From these spatial data, the thermal limits have been defined for each forest species. Finally, the technical of GIS and satellite images allowed us to monitor the dynamics of forest vegetation, and to build maps that define the relationship between forest biomass and thermal parameters. These maps helped us to
identify 901087 hectares where trees were very sensitive to changes in the average temperature, with a percentage of 53.9% of the total area of the studied forest ecosystems. Thus, the minimum temperature affects photosynthesis of forest species in an area of 852406 ha with 50.8% of the total forest area. This cartographic expression is effective, firstly for forestry in the discrimination of forest plots where the thermal factor is the limiting factor of productivity and secondly for decision makers to define the forest management strategies of country.

Biologie Résumé : In Eastern Algeria, precipitation and temperature are characterised by a great variableness, be it in time (yearly or monthly) or in space. To define and explain this variableness, two periods of observation (1913-1938 and 1978-2004) and 27 meteorological stations and post are used.
The analysis of the pluviothermic quotient and EMBERGER’s climagramme for these two periods shows a vertical sliding of bioclimatic floors in coastal stations and a horizontal slide in inland ones.
Finally, a headword average mobile analysis is carried out on series of monthly average temperature and monthly total precipitation. The main parameters allowing to sum up these series are put in a prominent position, and the analysis of the major components of these parameters allows the classification of most weather characteristics in the region under study.
This classification solves the dilemma often faced by bioclimatologists, which is the use of most climatic variables without limiting them to their simple expression (their average for example). The aim is to analyse this spatial and temporal variableness and to show the link between the separative and synthetic methods.Diplôme : Magistère En ligne : ../theses/biologie/TIR5572.pdf Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=1823 Climagramme d'Emberger : Analyse et correction dans quelques stations météorologiques de l'Est algérien [texte imprimé] / Kamel Tir, Auteur ; Univ. de Constantine, Éditeur scientifique ; Med EL Habib Benderradji, Directeur de thèse . - 2009 . - 99 f.
