It aims to show the ways the 3rd year students of English at Mentouri University, Constantine use to translate the present perfect simple. For most of the students, the present perfect simple is translated into Arabic through the use of the particles ( نمذ أ لذ ) + (ان اًضٙ ). We agree that this rule is correct but some scholars said that the present perfect simple should be translated into Arabic according to the context because of the lack of equivalence between English and Arabic at the level of tenses.
