is work is devoted to the phytochemical study of the two species Limonium duriusculium ( de Girard ) Kuntze, belongs to the Plumbaginaceae family and Genista aspalathoides ssp. aspalathoides belongs
to the Fabaceae family, and antioxidant activity of the butanolic phase of the two species.
Different methods of extraction, separation and purification of the aerial parts of the two species, led to the isolation of 13 products.
Three isoflavones are new for the species, from which two are mjor , have been isolated from Genista aspalathoides ssp. Aspalathoides.
Ten products are new for the species, from which two are new for the first time from a natural source, two are major, have been isolated from Limonium duriusculium ( de Girard ) Kuntze.
.Structures of those subtances we re established by diffent spectroscopic methods : mass spectrometry , UV ,1H NMR , 13C NMR and 2D NMR experiments (COSY , HSQC , HMBC , REOSY).
The resutats of the test on the antioxidant activity were satisfactory. This work is crowned by two publications in two international reviews.
