Résumé : |
This study explores the role of technology in improving students’ vocabulary learning. This
study focuses on the need to apply information and communication technologies in teaching and
learning vocabulary. It also attempts to shed light on how information and communication
technologies help to create a potential learning environment. This research used the questionnaire
as a data collection tool, administered to both teachers and third year students of the Department
of Letters and English Language at Mentouri Brothers University of Constantine 1. The results of
this research show that teachers as well as students believe in the important role of information
and communication technologies in supporting foreign language learning and teaching processes.
We believe that if students and instructors use information and communication technologies
appropriately, students’ vocabulary acquisition will improve and teachers will be able to support
their students more effectively. |
