process of the teaching of the aural / oral skills, and to propose some adequate
approaches to develop genuine communication. It also aims at analyzing the official
curriculum of the first year university students to find out whether there are defects in
it or not. A survey for the prevailing theories in this domain appears necessary as a
framework and as a reference in order to have a measure of the current practice in
relation to the officially prescribed objectives to the course. The second chapter, the
investigation was led through questionnaires to build up an expression of some
learners and teachers difficulties in the oral expression module and some of their
needs at least in their first-year University and to specify the tools to be used by
teachers. The two questionnaires allowed the study to design realistic activities
seriously based on the available human and material means. The analysis obtained of
this questionnaire allows us to make some remarks which are supposed to appear in
details on the last chapter. It is hoped that this study would be beneficial to the future
teachers of the ‘‘Oral Expression’’ module in that it would provide them with some
appropriate approaches and methods to help first-year University English students
develop the listening as well as the speaking skills, and to give them the opportunity
to use the spoken language from their first year. The research’s wish is to arouse a
revival of interest within teachers of English Oral Expression module by offering
them a description of some of the ways that may help a student’s performance in
speaking a foreign language.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=5798 Teaching communication between speaking and listening skills. : The case study of first-year students of english, university of constantine [texte imprimé] / Amira Cherouana, Auteur ; Hadjer Derouiche, Auteur ; Salah Kaouache, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2011 . - 78 f. ; 30 cm.

Titre : The use of english songs in enhancing the students’ oral production : The case of first year LMD students, University of Mentouri Brothers, Constantine Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Nadjet Bouidane, Auteur ; Souad Kharkhari, Auteur ; Lamia Elmechta, Auteur Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2017 Importance : 102 f. Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Language Sciences English songs OralProduction listening skills Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The present study aims to investigate the importance of using English songs in enhancing
foreign language learners’ speaking skill. As the majority of learners’ aim is to learn how
to speak the target language, and as they encounter a lot of difficulties and problems in
both listening and speaking, which are the two basic skills for mastering a language, we
hypothesized that if teachers use English songs as a teaching material and as a listening
activity, learners would uncover their speaking problems, and above all, be proficient
speakers. The study was based on two questionnaires administered to both Oral
Expression teachers and first year students to obtain the necessary information about the
students’ oral production in the classroom, the difficulties that might affect their
performance, and their attitudes and opinions towards the use of English songs as a tool to
enhance their oral production. The obtained findings showed that both teachers and
students are aware of the importance of the two language skills -speaking and listeningand
most of them consider songs as an effective tool for teaching the speaking skill; but,
still, they do have some difficulties due to lack of teaching materials in the Oral Expression
laboratories. The study would, hence, encourage teachers to offer English songs as an
attractive and useful method in teaching the speaking skill.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=4131 The use of english songs in enhancing the students’ oral production : The case of first year LMD students, University of Mentouri Brothers, Constantine [texte imprimé] / Nadjet Bouidane, Auteur ; Souad Kharkhari, Auteur ; Lamia Elmechta, Auteur . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 102 f. ; 30 cm.
