الحيوية الكيمياء الدموية الحليب الجزائرIndex. décimale : 636 Sciences Vétérinaires Résumé : The present study carried out in the region of El Eulma (North-eastern Algeria) showed a highest prevalence (81.9%) of theileriosis (Theileria. annulata infection) among the piroplasmosis, the coinfection between theileriosis and babesiosis (B. bovis) are frequent (14.9%). The number of the highest cases (45) has parasitemia between 0.1 - 4.99%. A total of 180 and 134 blood samples from 21 farms were collected in April and November 2015 (before and after the tropical theileriosis season; respectively) in the region of El Eulma (Sétif). Molecular prevalence (38.9 and 50% in April and November; respectively) was higher than those by Giemsa stained blood smear (17 and 16.4%, before and after tropical theileriosis season; respectively) (p<0.001 ). Exotic breeds were more infected than local breeds in the first visit (p=0.003), while during the second visit no significant difference was detected (p=0.226). This prevalence is lower in cattle less than one year (p=0,117; 0,270 in April and November; respectively). Molecular prevalence was significantly higher in females (44.7%) than in males (22.9%) (p<0.008) during the first visit.
No influence of type of livestock or the walls statements was detected. The sequences of genes Algerian Tams1 (96.1 to 98.9%, identity values) have a relationship with the Mauritanian, Tunisian and Egyptian sequences.
The biochemical and haematological study conducted on 40 healthy cattle and 40 clinically infected showed that the number of leukocytes, erythrocytes, haemoglobin, haematocrit, glucose, albumin, and total protein decrease significantly (p=0.005; 0.008, 0.03,0.048, 0.002, 0.027 and 0.018; respectively) in clinically infected Montbeliard breed with Theileria annulata. All infected animals have a total and direct bilirubin concentration increase significantly (p<0.001). The erythrocytes, haemoglobin, and haematocrit crossbreed cattle concentration decrease significantly (p=0.027; 0.003 and <0.001; respectively). Two types of anaemia were detected: hypochromic microcytic anaemia in Montbeliard clinically infected cattle and normochromic normocytic anaemia in infected local and cross breed cattle.
The tropical theileriosis impact study in Skikda region (northern Algeria) showed a decrease in milk production in 10 local breed cattle infected with Theileria annulata in summer 2015. The decrease in weekly milk production estimated for two months was 2.76 L /day / cow corresponding to 31.92% of the total milk production. This decrease corresponds to 110.5 AD (US $ 1.02) / day / sick cow. The relative variation of milk production showed a dramatic decrease from 82.72 to 0.76% on day 21.

region of origin of cattle, intervals to determine their values usual, to classify cases of
jaundice in the region, to finally determine the prevalence of these cases of jaundice.
This detailed comparative study allowed the investigation of the influence of parameters: age, sex, breed of cattle.
The results show that the usual intervals of values of total bilirubin, direct and indirect are : 0,07 – 0,8 mg/ 100 ml, 0,08 – 0,28 mg/100 ml, and 0,10 -0,61 mg/100 ml.
This study show the presence of two types of jaundice: Hemolytic, and hepatic, with prevalence higher in August compared to the months of September and October. A. The influence of different intrinsic and extrinsic factors on hematological parameters has been the subject of several previous works around the world. In Algeria, studies about all these factors in dairy cows are quite rare. It would therefore be interesting to provide for the veterinarians the usual values, in order to help them in the subclinical phase of the diagnosis. The first part is a bibliographical summary on blood physiology in cattle, the second part is an experimental study. A first section establishes the usual values of hematological parameters (RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, PLT, WBC, Number of LYM, MONO, NEU, EOS and BASO) and ionic elements (Na, K, Cl, Ca and P) in cattle, as well as the
correlation between these parameters and the intrinsic factors (age, breed, gender and physiological stage). Overall, the values are within physiological norms. For intrinsic factors, the variations are significant for age for all parameters of red and white blood cells. Concerning breed, only number of NEU is significantly different. For gender, the levels of PLT as well as some erythrocyte indices (MCH, MCHC) are the only variables. Finally, for the physiological stage, all the parameters studied fluctuate significantly between stages, excepting HGB, PLT, number of EOS, BASO and Na. The second part studies the influence of extrinsic factors (season and breeding methods). The results show a significant influence of the season on all parameters of red and white line except RBC, HGB and MCV. The breeding method has a significant influence on HGB, HCT and number of EOS.

Sciences VétérinairesTags : Paramphistomose prévalence bovins lymnée saison identification moléculaire Paramphistomosis prevalence cattle snails hosts season molecular identification العامل الممرض؛الأبقار؛الحلزون؛الفصل؛التعريف الجزيئي Index. décimale : 636 Sciences Vétérinaires Résumé : Studies on paramphistomosis have been achieved for two consecutive years for the purpose of specifying the prevalence of this trématodosis in cattle in the governorate of Jijel.
The prevalence of this parasitosis is estimated at 18.5% in 2011 and 17.0 in 2012, with monthly peaks of 32.6% and 28.2% respectively. Our study has shown that this parasitosis is more significant in the coastal governorates such as Jijel, (17.6%), compared with the inland ones (Constantine and Sétif with respectively 5.05% and 2.70%). When there is strong prevalence, low parasitic loads have been recorded. This may be explained by the rarefaction of snails habitats, outside the periods of high pluviometry, but no study has been undertaken in this matter.
Experimental infestations carried out on 20 sheep with Paramphostomum daubneyi have shown that only those receiving 1000 métacercarias have shown haematological modifications (light anaemia, polycythemia and eosinophilia), between the 9th and 12th postinfestation.
Malacological investigations in the governorate of Jijel in 2010 have shown that molluscs, intermediary hosts, are infested during all year with a higher prevalence during the humid period. Experimental infestations on 3 species of Lymneidas by P.daubneyi have shown that Lymnea viatrix is the most apt to produce métacercarias inside a laboratory, compared to both Galba truncatula and Lymnea neotropica
The identification of the paramphistomes species using molecular tools has confirmed the existence of two species which are P. daubneyi and P. microbothrium, in the various governorates of the Eastern Algeria (Jijel, Tarf, Constantine and Sétif).Diplôme : Doctorat en sciences En ligne : ../theses/veterinaire/TIT6404.pdf Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=9421 La paramphistomose gastro‐duodenale des ruminants dans le nord‐est Algerien : Investigations sur les bovins et le mollusque hote [texte imprimé] / Amal Titi, Auteur ; Abdesselam Mekroud, Directeur de thèse . - constantine [Algérie] : Université Constantine 1, 2013 . - 152 f. ; 30 cm.
