The influence of representations can cause stake about the apprehension of the ‘’other’’, his language(s) or his culture(s). It can create confused feeling among the studants and it can be the cause to give up their studies.
Our theses about ‘’french language’s and culture’s representations in french licence’’ in Constantine University1 tries to understand how those representations operate in algerian context, what are their origins (the family, the socity, the religion..) , what are their consequences.
We’ll try also to propose some activites for studants to deal with the ‘’other’’ and his linguistic and cultural specificities, far from any stereotyps and prejudices.

For an in-depth investigation, Coca Cola Company has been chosen as the practical sample given the status it enjoys all over the world.
It is hypothesized in the study that it is possible to convey the two components
composing the international advertisement discourse in the light of international markets competition, through two main translation procedures used in transfering advertisements from English into Arabic: localization or adaptation. To reach the aims of the study, this dissertation has been divided into four chapters, two theoretical and two reamaining others practical.
The first chapter reviews the literature on advertisement, which depends on a commercial goal that is considered a relevant element in the chain of marketing and a
motivating factor for products to be marketed by a producer to a national consumer, and then to an international consumer. Despite its pragmatic aim, this does not prevent the advertisement discourse to impose itself both as a piece of art and literature. It is also apparent that the advertisement discourse is a hybrid discourse that can be either a communicationl discourse made up of source (advertiser), receiver (consumer), channel (auditory/written/audio-visual/electronic), message (advertisement discourse), context and code (linguistic and non linguistic signs). Also it is a cultural discourse that attempts to integrate cultural aspects which make the pragmatic necessity a living style convenient with
the different cultures. The steady progress of media leads eventually to the production of similar cultural messages and products. This paves the way to the occurrence of new type of advertisement namely as, The International Advertisement. Additionally, it is believed that the advertisement discourse is a complex semiotic discourse with linguistic and visual layouts which themselves contain two types of signs: linguistic and non linguistic. In fact, the advertisement translation is tightly related to its effect on the foreign consumer. This effect can be: zero effect, positive or negative.
In the practical chapters, the study analyses and criticises the translation procedures as used by Coca Cola Company in the rendition of international advertisements. The study clearly shows that both the linguistic and visual treatment of the advertisement followed the localization strategy of translation since the characteristics of the source discourse were apparent in the transfer, ignoring the target culture and imposing the source culture to become a means of promoting not only the product but also the American material culture as an international culture in the context of globalization. Despite this, the use of adaptation was
apparent in some cases to show contrasts in the genius of the source and target languages.
More importantly, the adaptation strategy was important to preserve some cultural aspects in the target culture that seemed to be non-negligible. Yet, resorting to both localization and adaptation was crucial in some cases in order to achieve natural language contact with the receiver and mirror the true image of the source culture, but it still remained important to maintain consistency between the linguistic and the visual layouts during the transfer to preserve the natural relation between them and their meanings in the source language.
As a conclusion, advertisement translation should exceed the linguistic framework to
include semiotic references that encompass linguistic, iconic and plastic signs. All in all, attempts to bypass translation and make English the Babel language seem to have a long way to go.

This five-chapter study aims at analyze the Arabic translations of three novels by the Franco-Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf: Léon l’africain (Leo Africanus) translated by AffifDemachkia, Le rocher de Tanios (The Rock of Tanios) and Le périple de Baldassare (Balthasar’s Odyssey) translated by Nahla Baydoun. Indeed, the transferring of these novels from French to Arabic does not take place according to the traditional process of translation which consists in bringing back a totally foreign text, since the Arabic translator maintains a linguistic and cultural complicity with the original French-speaking text. Generally, the novels of French-speaking writers of Arabic origin, like Maalouf, carry elements of Arab cultural identity imbedded in the language of writing (French). Thus, we have tried to describe and analyze the process of translation into Arabic, which can be assimilated to a return trip to the origin (a repatriation), and this through examples which concretize this ""repatriation"". In addition, we tried to follow the evolution of the relationship “language / cultural identity” among Frech-speaking writers between the ""colonial"" and ""postcolonial"" periods. The study was able to demonstrate that the Arabic translations of Amin Maalouf's novels can be considered as a journey back to the origin (a repatriation), especially if the translator manages to find balance between the process of returning cultural elements to their nurturing environment, and that of the recreation of the aesthetic, stylistic and artistic novels in the Arabic language. The research also gives an idea about the aesthetic of the image in the poetry of Islamic conquests and the contribution of language and music in its poetic composition.
The researcher reacted to the theory in favour of the weakening of poetry at the beginning of Islam to show that on the contrary poetry was ahead of all historical events, such as the Islamic conquests, and contributed to authenticate and prove their consequences.
This study is based on two approaches: a descriptive analytic approach to study and classify the poetic image, adopting the statistic approach when necessary, and the documentary approach to analyse the corpus consisting of two hundred ninety poetic texts on Islamic conquests.

الأدب العربيTags : الدراسة تدريس أنشطة اللغة كفاءة الأستاذ متوسطة التواصلية study Teaching Activities langue approach teacher school communication étude l'enseignement activités language approches professeur colléges Index. décimale : 810 أدب عربي Résumé : يطرح هذا البحث المعنون "تدريس أنشطة اللغة العربية في السنة الرابعة من التعليم المتوسط في ظل المقاربة بالكفاءات قسنطينة أنموذجا" قضية تدريس أنشطة اللغة العربية في المتوسطات الجزائرية، حيث استهللت البحث بمدخل يعالج المقاربات التعليمية السابقة للمقاربة بالكفاءات، ثم انتقلت إلى الفصل الأول فوسمته بالمقاربة المصطلحية تناولت فيه أهم مصطلحات الدراسة -التدريس و النشاط والمقاربة بالكفاءات- مع التعريف بمرجعياتها ومساهمتها في حقل تعليمية اللغات ؛لأتطرق بعدها إلى التعريف بالكتاب المدرسي وأهم الوسائل التعليمية الحديثة، متخذين من نشاط البلاغة أنموذجا للتطبيق ،ثم أردفنا أنشطة اللغة العربية بالتوالي، وذلك حسب ترتيبها في الكتاب المدرسي، وطريقة إسنادها للمعلم ثم ختمت البحث بدراسة تطبيقية ميدانية استعملت خلالها استبيان خاص للمعلمين والتلاميذ وحضور حصص اللغة العربية بغية الكشف عن واقع التدريس ومدى نجاعة هذه الطرق الحديثة .
وقد أجاب البحث عن الإشكالية المطروحة، المتمحورة حول ما واقع تدريس أنشطة اللغة العربية في السنة الرابعة متوسط في ظل المقاربة بالكفاءات؟ .لنصل خلالها إلى أهم النتائج المتمثلة في أنّ تدريس الأنشطة اللغوية للسنة الرابعة متوسط وفق المقاربة بالكفاءات قد ركزت على الوظيفة التواصلية و إنتاج النصوص؛ وأن التعليم من خلال هذه المقاربة يمر عبر مراحل وتلزمه مناهج وبرامج معدة ،و أن النص هو نقطة انطلاق باقي الأنشطة، وكذلك نقطة وصول؛ كما أثبتنا أنه لا يمكن لأي دراسة أن تقوم بدراسة نشاط واحد بعيدا عن التساند والتقارب الوظيفي مع الأنشطة الأخرى.
This study, entitled ""Teaching Arabic Language Activities in the Fourth Year of Middle Education under the Approach of Competencies, The Case of Constantine"", represents the teaching of Arabic language activities in the Algerian middle schools. I started the research with an introduction that tackles the previous educational approaches before competency approach, and then moved on to the first chapter, entitled Terminological approach, In which I addressed the most important terms of the study - teaching, activity and competency approach - with the definition of reference and its contribution in the field of language education; then I addressed the definition of the textbook and the most modern educational methods, taking the activity of eloquence as model to apply. Then I talked about the activities of the Arabic language, successively, as arranged in the textbook, and the way it’s assigned to the teacher. The study ended with a practical field study, during which a questionnaire was used for teachers and students, in addition to the attendance of Arabic language classes in order to reveal the reality of teaching and the effectiveness of these modern methods. The research has answered the problem posed by what is the reality of the teaching of Arabic language activities in the fourth year of middle school under the approach of competencies? In order to reach the most important results that the teaching of language activities for the fourth year according to the competency approach has focused on the function of communication and the production of texts; and that education through this approach passes through stages and binding curricula and programs prepared, and that the text is the starting point of the rest of the activities, As well as an arrival point. الأدب العربيTags : الدراسة تدريس أنشطة اللغة كفاءة الأستاذ متوسطة التواصلية study Teaching Activities langue approach teacher school communication étude l'enseignement activités language approches professeur colléges Index. décimale : 810 أدب عربي Résumé : يطرح هذا البحث المعنون "تدريس أنشطة اللغة العربية في السنة الرابعة من التعليم المتوسط في ظل المقاربة بالكفاءات قسنطينة أنموذجا" قضية تدريس أنشطة اللغة العربية في المتوسطات الجزائرية، حيث استهللت البحث بمدخل يعالج المقاربات التعليمية السابقة للمقاربة بالكفاءات، ثم انتقلت إلى الفصل الأول فوسمته بالمقاربة المصطلحية تناولت فيه أهم مصطلحات الدراسة -التدريس و النشاط والمقاربة بالكفاءات- مع التعريف بمرجعياتها ومساهمتها في حقل تعليمية اللغات ؛لأتطرق بعدها إلى التعريف بالكتاب المدرسي وأهم الوسائل التعليمية الحديثة، متخذين من نشاط البلاغة أنموذجا للتطبيق ،ثم أردفنا أنشطة اللغة العربية بالتوالي، وذلك حسب ترتيبها في الكتاب المدرسي، وطريقة إسنادها للمعلم ثم ختمت البحث بدراسة تطبيقية ميدانية استعملت خلالها استبيان خاص للمعلمين والتلاميذ وحضور حصص اللغة العربية بغية الكشف عن واقع التدريس ومدى نجاعة هذه الطرق الحديثة .
وقد أجاب البحث عن الإشكالية المطروحة، المتمحورة حول ما واقع تدريس أنشطة اللغة العربية في السنة الرابعة متوسط في ظل المقاربة بالكفاءات؟ .لنصل خلالها إلى أهم النتائج المتمثلة في أنّ تدريس الأنشطة اللغوية للسنة الرابعة متوسط وفق المقاربة بالكفاءات قد ركزت على الوظيفة التواصلية و إنتاج النصوص؛ وأن التعليم من خلال هذه المقاربة يمر عبر مراحل وتلزمه مناهج وبرامج معدة ،و أن النص هو نقطة انطلاق باقي الأنشطة، وكذلك نقطة وصول؛ كما أثبتنا أنه لا يمكن لأي دراسة أن تقوم بدراسة نشاط واحد بعيدا عن التساند والتقارب الوظيفي مع الأنشطة الأخرى.
This study, entitled ""Teaching Arabic Language Activities in the Fourth Year of Middle Education under the Approach of Competencies, The Case of Constantine"", represents the teaching of Arabic language activities in the Algerian middle schools. I started the research with an introduction that tackles the previous educational approaches before competency approach, and then moved on to the first chapter, entitled Terminological approach, In which I addressed the most important terms of the study - teaching, activity and competency approach - with the definition of reference and its contribution in the field of language education; then I addressed the definition of the textbook and the most modern educational methods, taking the activity of eloquence as model to apply. Then I talked about the activities of the Arabic language, successively, as arranged in the textbook, and the way it’s assigned to the teacher. The study ended with a practical field study, during which a questionnaire was used for teachers and students, in addition to the attendance of Arabic language classes in order to reveal the reality of teaching and the effectiveness of these modern methods. The research has answered the problem posed by what is the reality of the teaching of Arabic language activities in the fourth year of middle school under the approach of competencies?
