of life economically, socially, and politically. Education is one of these sectors. In this
context, all governments of the world decided to suspend face-to-face education and
resort to digital platforms to complete their studies remotely via distance education. This
study aims to shed light to the use of distance learning as an only solution in the period
of lockdown and to see the effectiveness, rate of acceptance, success, and the impact of
this technology on students of frère Mentouri, Constantine 1. In order to test our
hypothesis, a questionnaire was given to 36 Master two students of English. The main
objective of this questionnaire is to collect data based on the students’ answers and to
see their point of view toward distance learning. The sample was taken randomly second
year master English students. The analysis of the results revealed that students were not
satisfied with the new method of teaching. This indicates that students faced great
challenges in this period to complete the academic year. Thus, our hypothesis was
confirmed and we conclude that distance learning has caused a significant drop in
students’ level.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=15287 Challenges of Student in Distance Education in the Era of Covid 19: The Case of Second Year Master Students at Frere Mentouri University, Constantine 1 [texte imprimé] / Cheima Mechiakh, Auteur ; Jamel Benkaza, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2021 . - 55 f. ; 30 cm.

Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : This paper tries to investigate whether teachers at L’Arc en Ciel private school know about
the effectiveness of using children songs as a means to improve young learners’ English
language vocabulary and if these songs influence children’s motivation to learn English or
not. For that it was hypothesized that the use of children’s songs by English as a Foreign
Language (EFL) teachers at L’Arc en Ciel private school in Constantine would help in raising
young learner’s motivation and interest to enrich their vocabulary. In order to check the
hypothesis, and due to the constraints induced by the pandemic, the use of teachers’
questionnaire was considered the most suitable methodological procedure. The questionnaire
was given to eleven randomly selected teachers at L’Arc en Ciel private school, Constantine.
The analysis of the data revealed that most of the learners have a positive attitude towards
having children’s songs as a teaching tool to enhance their vocabulary. Thus, the results
reveal the importance of integrating such songs in EFL classes as a motivational strategy. This
has confirmed to some extent the hypothesis.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=13842 Effectiveness of Using Children’s Songs to Enrich Young Learners’ Vocabulary at L’Arc en Ciel Private School, Constantine [texte imprimé] / Lina Benamara, Auteur ; Jamel Benkaza, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2020 . - 60 f. ; 30cm.

M1 students of English department of Frères Mentouri University of Constantine. In other
words, it aims to examine how students who are also learners of a foreign language manage to
get fluent during a face to face conversation or in classroom interaction with teachers. This
research is based on the hypothesis that learners of English had more opportunities to learn
the language, they would reach a better level in speaking. For this purpose, this study is based
on two questionnaires addressed to both oral expression teachers and Master1 students to see
their point of view about how important mastering the speaking skill of the English language
is. This research also includes a test for students in order to determine their level of fluency.
The analyses of the questionnaires and test results reveal that both teachers and students
acknowledge that they have issues concerning speaking fluency while learning the language
and also the teachers have this problem while teaching it.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=2384 Explaring the vessons behind fluency any chostu one student [texte imprimé] / Yasmine Benkacharchair, Auteur ; Zahra Elghourri, Auteur ; Jamel Benkaza, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Mentouri Constantine, 2016 . - 61.f ; 30.cm.

Titre : Identification and analysis of some factors behind students’ poor writing performance in english : The case study of third year lmd students department of english university frères mentouri - constantine Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Aicha Attal, Auteur ; Jamel Benkaza, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2017 Importance : 95 f. Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Sciences of Language Identification Analysis Writing Performance Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Researches in the field of foreign language learning have indicated the importance of the mastery of the four language skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing. As far as writing is concerned, recent studies have determined that this skill is unavoidable in the learning process. Yet, writing is characterized as being a complex system , as it is proved to be affected by plenty of factors that are linked either to the administration, the teachers or the learners . More particularly, this research study focuses basically on the learners and the potential factors behind their poor writing performance in English. Therefore, to investigate our hypothesis and fulfill the aim of this study, two main questionnaires have been administered. The first questionnaire is devoted to written expression teachers at the level of the department of English at the University of Frere Mentouri, and the second questionnaire is designed to Third year students at the same university. The identification and the analysis of the reasons and the questionnaires’ obtained results affirm that students’ poor writing production is linked to their lack of motivation to write, their anxiety when writing, lack of reading and first language interference on their written products. Titre : Reward as a motivating factor to enhance efl learners’ oral proficiency : The case of third year middle school pupils at khadidja middle school constantine Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Asma Belaifa, Auteur ; Jamel Benkaza, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2015 Importance : 99 f. Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Language Sciences Motivating Enhance EFL Oral Proficiency Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Learning a language is a long and difficult process. Therefore, getting a skill or knowledge often requires much hard work and motivation. Motivation then is a crucial element for EFL learners’ success in speaking English. Thus the present study aims at exploring the impact of reward on the motivation of third year middle school pupils to speak English. This study is based on the hypothesis that if the teachers use reward in the classroom, pupils’ motivation to speak English will improve. In order to confirm this hypothesis we adapted a quantitative research method in which we relied on questionnaires administered to both teachers and learners. In fact the results of both tools have shown that speaking English is best achieved and reinforced by motivation. We come to the conclusion that reward is an effective motivator that enhances ELF learners’ motivation to speak in English. Finally, on the basis of these findings some pedagogical implications are suggested and we hope that they may help teachers in using reward in the classroom Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=6204 Reward as a motivating factor to enhance efl learners’ oral proficiency : The case of third year middle school pupils at khadidja middle school constantine [texte imprimé] / Asma Belaifa, Auteur ; Jamel Benkaza, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2015 . - 99 f. ; 30 cm.
