Biologie Résumé : The present study aimed to evaluate the protective effect of argan oil and selenium against oxidative stress induced by mercury. For this reason, a phytochemical study of antioxidant tested in vitro was performed on argan oil to estimate its expected effect. The results showed the presence of phenolic compounds in a very high concentration. The evaluation of power scavenger argan oil is more active with IC50 = 13.33 ± 1.3, and in vivo on Albino Wistar rats were treated with mercury alone or combined with argan oil and selenium, for a period of three weeks, the blood is then withdrawn and the rats are sacrificed the various parameters are determined. From the analysis of our results, we observed a significant reduction in weight gain during treatment with mercury alone or combined with argan oil and selenium, but no clear change in the relative weight of liver, kidney or spleen was obtained. The results also showed significant changes in biochemical parameters, immunological and haematological. Characterized primarily by a significant increase in serum glucose, urea, creatinine, uric acid, total and direct bilirubin, total lipids, cholesterol, triglyceride, conjugated diene and the enzymatic activity of AST, ALT, LDH and PAL .dropoff window Whereas serum concentrations of albumin and total protein were reduced in treated rats compared to mercury control animals. Results also show immunological and haematological toxicity especially among the treated groups the pure mercury, an increase in serum IL-1, IL-6 and TNF and elevated white blood cell count, decreased red blood cell levels, hemoglobin concentration the percentage of hematocrit and phagocytic activity during treatment with mercury. Thus the treatment of the rats with the mercury causes a reduction in the plasma antioxidant capacity characterized by decrease in the serum concentration of vitamin E and C and rate of DPPH and thiols. We also observed that the results obtained highlight the detoxifier potential expressed by the decrease in erythrocyte glutathione levels, liver and kidney, metallothionein, the enzymatic activity of the antioxidant system SOD, GPx, GST and catalase and increased in lipid peroxidation expressed by the high levels of plasma MDA, erythrocyte, liver and kidney. Also the results clearly showed substantive alterations of tissue studies in comparison with the control, with hepatocyte cytolysis, hepatic necrosis and tubular degeneration with necrosis of the kidneys. Furthermore supplementation argan oil and selenium changed the toxic effects of mercury and decreased histological alterations and showed that both antioxidants are effective against oxidative stress induced by mercury

PhysiqueTags : Sol-Gel Thin films nanstructurs TiO2 doped Mercury Lead Zinc.
Couches minces Nanostructures TiO2 dopé Mercure Plomb شرائح رقيقة مطعم TiO2 الزئبق الرصاص الزنكIndex. décimale : 530 Physique Résumé : This work is focused on preparation and characterization of thin layers of titanium oxide (TiO2) undoped and doped with heavy elements such as mercury, lead and zinc prepared by sol-gel method and deposited on various substrates (glass, silicon and ITO). In this study we used various investigative techniques: XRD, Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, UVVisible-NIR, Photoluminescence, Profilo-meter, SEM, AFM and spectroscopy Electrochemical potential.
DSC and XRD results show that the doping TiO2 xerogels with Hg and Pb accelerated crystallization compare of these doping with Zn which causes a delay of the crystallization of titanium oxide. The doped thin films obtained crystallize at low temperature on the titanium oxide structures, but with the increasing annealing temperature we distinguish the appearance of new phases corresponding to the doping elements this according to the type dopant. Raman and FTIR spectra confirm the results obtained by XRD and Raman spectroscopy by the appearance of vibrational bands corresponding to the same phases.
The micrographs of doped thin films show a morphology consisting of various nanostructures varied depending on the nature of the dopant and the annealing temperature.
Thin films of TiO2 doped Hg crystallizes in the form of nanoparticles, nano-sheets and nanotubes, the doping by Pb crystallizes with nano-structure of nonporous, nanotubes while doping with zinc shows the crystallization of the films with porous, nanowires and nanorodes structure .The grain size increases as the annealing temperature increases. The AFM images
correlates the observations of SEM are composed of many nanostructures with high density.
Characterizations by UV-Visible-NIR spectrophotometry, ellipsométerie and the PL spectroscopy show that the nature of dopant and the annealing temperature and the thickness of films can improve the optical properties of TiO2. Firstly, the elevation of these parameters increases the transmittance, the refractive index and decreases the optical gap; on the other hand, the doping effect causes a shift to larger lengths. This discrepancy confirmed the results obtained by photoluminescence (PL).
Characterizations I = f (v) of the thin films shows that the doping improve the properties of thin films they can be used in different application such as gas sensing and the photovoltaic field.

In the first part of this thesis, new bidentate ferrocenyl phosphine/N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) palladium complex rac-5, bearing a functionalized pendant arm for further grafting on a solid surface, has been synthesized in good yields and fully characterized. The molecular structure of proligand rac-4-BF4 and complex rac-5 were obtained by X-ray diffraction on single crystals. Kinetic studies demonstrated the good activity and stability of rac-5 in the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of aryl bromides with arylboronic acids. The catalyst proved also to be active for the coupling of more challenging, bulky substrates such as 1-bromo-2-methylnaphthalene and naphthylboronic acid at relatively mild temperatures (40–70°C) and low loadings (0.1–0.5 mol%). Experiments carried out with various amounts of water highlighted the role of water on both activity and mechanism. In the second part, a series of new Schiff bases L1-L6 derived from benzimidazole were synthesized and their structures characterized by single-crystal
X-ray diffraction analysis, NMR, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. L1, L2, L3, L4 et L6 react with Mercury ions to afford the corresponding complexes 1, 2, 3,4 et 6 in quantitative yield. The ligand L4 was also complexed win zinc ion to afford the corresponding complex 7. The in vitro measurement of the antioxidant activity of some compounds tested (L1, L2, L4, L6, 1, 2 and 7) against the free radical scavenger DPPH at low concentration (100 μg / mL), showed a moderate antioxidant activity (22%-35%), compared to the standard (Asc, 84%). To support experimental data, theoretical calculations including molecular geometry, electronic transitions and vibrational frequencies of the ligand 6 and the (Hg) complex 6 in the ground state were carried out using the global hybrid (B3LYP) density functional. In addition, a qualitative description of excited states and charge transfer character of electronic transitions states were carried out by plotting the Natural Transition Orbitals (NTOs) for main states. Theoretical calculations are in good agreement with experimental values.Note de contenu : Annexes.
