Their mastering is a symptom
that the learner is becoming native-like in his/her speech. The aim of this work is to
investigate the degree of acquisition of phrasal verbs by advanced learners of English at
the University Mentouri- Constantine. To achieve such an aim, a test was administered
to Master 2 and First year Doctorate students at the English Department to see how
much acquisition has resulted from their learning. The results obtained from the test
have shown that advanced learners of English at the university level have not yet arrived
at a full acquisition of English phrasal verbs. The information obtained from the test has
made it possible to shed light on this particular problem. Some recommendations are
given, some concern teachers and curriculum designers, while others are of interest to
the students.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=5183 Degree of acquisition of phrasal verbs by advanced learners of english : The case of advanced learners of english at mentouri university ,constantine [texte imprimé] / Samia Chouieb, Auteur ; Farida Abderrahhim, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2011 . - 56 f. ; 30 cm.

order to realize the aim of the study, two questionnaires are used to collect data, the first
questionnaire is administered to oral expression teachers or teachers who teach modules
which need giving oral presentations by learners and the second questionnaire is given to 40
students of third year at the department of English in Constantine University. The research

adjectives and adverbs supported by examples. We designed a test to collect the data
from the sample which was chosen randomly. The sample consists of thirty students of
second year LMD from the Department of Foreign Languages University of
Constantine plus a questionnaire to support the test results. The findings of the study
confirm the hypothesis suggested before (If EFL learners have problems with kinds

indicates that EFL learners are not able to identify the adjectives properly, and
students cannot differentiate between the adjectives and the adverbs. Finally the research
presented some recommendations and suggestions to students in order to help them
overcome these difficulties.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=4138 Difficulties facing efl learnerswhen identifying adjectives : The case second 2nd year students at the department of University of Constantine 1 [texte imprimé] / Amina Benhammou, Auteur ; Siham Medjrab, Auteur ; Soulef Boulmerka, Auteur . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 56 f. ; 30 cm.

Titre : Investigating the learners awareness of the importance of using writing techniques to enhance the writing skill : The case of second and third year LMD students of english at the university of brothers Mentouri, Constantine Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : rayene Benharkou, Auteur ; Esma Benhadid, Auteur ; Nesrine Hamani, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2017 Importance : 55 f. Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Applied Language Studies writing techniques learners skill Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : There are two categories of people who might be interested in the writing activity:
those who want to be specialized in the teaching of English as a second/foreign
language, and those who want to learn how to become good English writers. Future
teachers may benefit from some theoretical notions regarding the teaching of
English as a second/foreign language, which allows them to develop new teaching
strategies for various level of proficiency. Students may benefit from an instructive
approach to develop their skills from the writing perspective. This dissertation is
intended to investigate the importance of teaching writing techniques (grammar,
spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, capitalisation, coherence and unity), and the
effectiveness of 2nd and 3rd year students’ written expression curriculum at the
Department of English language, of Brothers Mentouri, on improving their writing
proficiency. In order to achieve this research, an extensive study is conducted and it
is divided into two chapters: a theoretical and practical one. We have relied heavily
on two means of research First, a questionnaire has been administered to teachers to
collect data about the importance of teaching writing techniques. Second, a test has
been given to second year students to test their abilities in writing effective and
correct essay. Thirdly, another test has been administered to third year students to
investigate whether or not they respect the writing rules when performing the task of
writing. The data obtained have proved that there must be some modifications to be
made in second and third year students’ curricula; the students’ writings would be
much improved if they respect the writing rules when performing the task of writing.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=4440 Investigating the learners awareness of the importance of using writing techniques to enhance the writing skill : The case of second and third year LMD students of english at the university of brothers Mentouri, Constantine [texte imprimé] / rayene Benharkou, Auteur ; Esma Benhadid, Auteur ; Nesrine Hamani, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 55 f. ; 30 cm.

Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The present study aims at studying the difficulties in learning English prepositions. Thus, the
objective of the study is to extract the errors that are frequently made by Arab learners in
using English prepositions, particularly “in”, “inside”, “into” and “to”, and to investigate the
causes behind that. Error Analysis is used in this study as a way to describe and analyze the
errors made by foreign learners. Data were derived from a test answered by a randomly
selected sample of 40 students. The results revealed that the interference from the mother
tongue (Arabic) and the strategies of the target language itself (English) are major sources of
the EFL learners’ errorsDiplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=6117 Misusing such english prepositions by algerian learners, particularly:“in”, “inside”, “into” and “to” : Case study; master one students of english mentouri university-constantine [texte imprimé] / Halima Boucheriha, Auteur ; Mira Boulainine, Auteur ; Riad Belouahem, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2011 . - 104 f. ; 30 cm.
