students learn a language has a lot to do with the way they interact inside the classroom. The
majority of the English as Foreign Language (EFL) learners are unable to use the foreign
language in communication. This study aims at presenting the role of classroom interaction in
developing EFL learners’ speaking skill. The hypothesis adopted in this study is that use
interaction in classroom might help and encourage students to develop their speaking ability
and reduce their difficulties in speaking English as a foreign language. Through a quantitative
study design, the required data was gathered from students’ questionnaire which was
administered to third year LMD students at the department of English in “Brothers Mentouri”
University Constantine-1- during the academic year 2019-2020. After the analysis of data, the
research findings revealed that the relationship between classroom interaction and mastering
the speaking skill with the focus on the classroom techniques and methods might be beneficial
in foreign language classes.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=13615 Students’ Attitude Towards The Role Of Classroom Interaction In Enhancing Speaking Skills The Case Of Third Year Lmdefl Students At “Brothers Mentouri” University,Constantine 1 [texte imprimé] / Meryem Rezine, Auteur ; Radia Bouguebs, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2020 . - 68 f. ; 30cm.

Since the idea of interaction is mainly related to classroom, teachers have to
provide students with opportunities to use the language and to improve their speaking skills.
The present research aims at investigating the relationship between classroom interaction
and the enhancement of EFL learners’ speaking skill. Therefore, the hypothesis adopted
along this study sets that if EFL learners are provided with appropriate opportunities to
experience producing L2, then their speaking will improve. To prove the efficacy of
classroom interaction we have administered two questionnaires to both teachers and students
at Mentouri University, Department of English. The results obtained have showed that
classroom interaction is an effective tool for improving learners’ speaking skill and both
teacher and students consider it as a successful strategy in enhancing the speaking skill.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=5017 Developing efl learners’ speaking skill through classroom interaction : The case of third year lmd english students. university mentouri constantine [texte imprimé] / Imene Farroudj, Auteur ; Meriem Boudjouada, Auteur ; Djamila Babaa, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 90 f. ; 30 cm.

Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Speaking is one of the most challenging and complex skills. In the process of
mastering all the aspects of this skill and use them appropriately in different social contexts,
students may face many difficulties and problems that prevent them from talking. For
example, some learners feel shy and anxious to participate and interact in the OE classes,
others lack motivation, vocabulary and confidence to speak in front of their classmates. The
present study aims at shedding light on the teachers' and students' attitudes towards the use of
role play technique to develop the students‘ speaking skill. Our hypothesis is, if teachers hold
positive attitudes towards the use of role play, they are more likely to use it as a classroom
technique for developing students‘ speaking skill. To achieve these aims two questionnaires
were delivered to both teachers and students at the Department of Letters and English
Language, Faculty of Letters and Languages, University ‗‗Des Frères Mentouri‘‘, Constantine
1. The first questionnaire was directed to OE teachers. while the second one was given to
second year students at the same department. The results of this study have shown that the
majority of teachers and students hold positive attitudes towards using role play technique as
well as they considered it as an effective and helpful way for improving the students' speaking
skill. Furthermore, on the basis of these results, our hypothesis is confirmedDiplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=13686 Teachers' and Students' Attitudes Towards Using Role Play for Developing the Students' Speaking Skill The Case of Second Year Students of English, University ― Des Frères Mentouri ‖ , Constantine 1 [texte imprimé] / Djihene Bouchoul, Auteur ; Fatima-Zohra Semakdji, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2020 . - 107 f. ; 30cm.

master this skill, and improve their oral performance. However, they make various errors
when speaking and they need a help from their teachers to correct their made mistakes.
Teachers use many strategies in order to help their students in enhancing their speaking
performance; one of these strategies is giving feedback. This study is based on the hypothesis
which states that, if foreign language students’ receive effective feedback from their teachers,
their speaking skill performance will be enhanced. It seeks to investigate the effect of
teachers’ feedback in enhancing EFL students speaking performance, and to point out
students’ reactions towards their teachers’ feedback. In order to fit the objectives of our
research, we would direct two main questionnaires; the first one is directed to forty second
year English LMD students at the University of Constantine1, and the second one is given to
oral expression teachers, in order to benefit from their experience in teaching oral expression,
and to guarantee the validity of the responses. The obtained results from students’ and
teachers’ questionnaire showed that EFL students face many difficulties, and make various
errors during their speech, and teachers should correct them by giving effective feedback.
Students react positively to their teachers’ feedback if it is provided in an appropriate manner.
